Getting Started
Follow these 8 steps to set up your first campaign with BATracker. Most users are tracking clicks within 5 minutes.
Set Up a Custom Domain
Add your own tracking domain for professional URLs and better deliverability.
Custom domains make your tracking links look professional and help avoid blocklists. Add a subdomain like track.yourdomain.com, configure the DNS records, and verify ownership.
Create a Traffic Source
Set up your traffic source with custom parameters and tokens to track where your visitors are coming from.
Traffic sources represent platforms where you buy traffic (e.g., Facebook, Google, PropellerAds). Configure the URL parameters your traffic source uses to pass data like click IDs, costs, and keywords.
Add an Affiliate Network
Configure your affiliate networks to enable postback tracking for conversions.
Add the affiliate networks you work with. Each network will need a postback URL to fire when conversions happen. You'll configure this in your network's tracking settings.
Create Offers
Add the offers you're promoting from your affiliate networks.
Create an offer for each affiliate offer you're promoting. Include the offer URL, payout amount, and associate it with the correct network. You can set different payouts for different countries.
Add Landing Pages (Optional)
Set up pre-sell pages to warm up traffic before sending to offers.
Landing pages (or landers) are pre-sell pages you show before the offer. They help increase conversion rates by pre-qualifying traffic. Add the {offer_url} token to your CTA buttons.
Create Your First Campaign
Link everything together: traffic source, landers, and offers.
A campaign ties everything together. Select your traffic source, add landers (optional), add offers, and configure the flow. The tracker will generate a unique campaign URL.
Get Your Tracking URL
Copy your campaign URL and use it in your traffic source.
Copy the campaign URL and use it as your destination URL in your traffic source. Replace the placeholder tokens with the actual macros from your traffic source.
Set Up Postbacks
Give your postback URL to affiliate networks to track conversions.
Copy your universal postback URL and add it to each affiliate network. The network will fire this URL when a conversion happens, and it will be recorded in your tracker.
That's it!
You're now tracking clicks and conversions. Head to the Dashboard to monitor your campaigns in real-time.
